Faith Associates has developed a series of targeted training programmes. The design and delivery of the programmes are focused on the outcomes of the training. We aim to improve quality, performance, relevance and engagement by ensuring that training is built upon the experiences of participants. Working with clients we are able to deliver courses that meet individual requirements and expectations. Faith Associates believes that it is vital to raise the skills and expectations of our participants by delivering to realistic aims and goals that are agreed in advance of our training programmes. In addition, by drawing on the experiences of participants, we are able to ensure relevance and the active engagement of participants to make a real impact to their lives.

 | Mosque management, governance and capacity building
Developed for Trustees and Management Committees, Mosques management and governance training recognises the critical role the Mosque and Islamic centers play in today’s society. The course covers a wide range of issues such as child protection, financial management, facilities management, and the role of the Mosque in community development. The course is tailored to meeting the complex and competing challenges that are faced by those acting as Trustees and those serving on the Management Committees of Mosques.
Mosque capacity building and training is designed to support frontline staff members and managers. The training explores how to improve governance, manage and develop a Mosque or Islamic Centre.

Imams play a vital and complex role in British Muslim society; Faith Associates had developed culturally sensitive training for imams in non-theological subjects. The aim of our training is to help Imams to play a more effective role with their congregation and in society. Training builds core skills to enhance Imam’s engagement and understanding of the community cohesion agenda. The course also includes aspects such as how to liaise with local agencies and engagement with the media.

The effect of a terrorist raid has a devastating effect on communities and society. Coping with a terror raid provides crisis management training for community leaders and staff concerned with Muslim communities. The course looks at the ways in which the media and the local community perceive a raid. Using real life examples and case studies the course shows participants ways to manage a crisis to achieve a balanced outcome and how to work towards achieving community cohesion in the aftermath of a raid.
